About Wheaton's Design
Wheaton’s Design Pvt. Ltd., founded in 1995, is a multidisciplinary design and build studio based in Delhi and Jaipur. Co-founded by Samiir Wheaton, Bhawna Jagwani Wheaton, and Monish Pandey, the studio brings over three decades of expertise in architecture, interiors, and furniture design.
My Story
Samiir Wheaton
Design, for me, has always been a dialogue between memory, emotion, and form. Inspired by my mother’s sketches, I create architecture, interiors, and furniture that are more than just spaces, they are experiences. At Wheatons Design, every detail is shaped by art, nature, and storytelling, bringing together timelessness and soul.
Pushpanjali Residence
Conceived on the grounds of an old pottery kiln, the 18000 sq. ft. residence takes cues from both craft and terrain. The natural undulation of the site allows the house to span two floors, with a tall concrete entry tower reminiscent of a brick kiln’s chimney, marking the arrival. Partially sunken into the ground, the lower level opens onto a vibrant entertainment lawn at the back and a serene pool in the front, merging architecture with outdoor living.
White House
The White House was envisioned around the Jungle Book theme suggested by the owner. A home that celebrates nature, storytelling, and tradition. The ceiling features wooden panels with intentional gaps, allowing sunlight to filter through and cast shifting patterns of light and shadow, echoing the play of the forest canopy. Materials such as wood, stone, and white marble ground the design in simplicity and timelessness.
